to any and all animators looking to make a quick buck --

a family friend is trying to pitch a cartoon series to networks, but before he pitches it, he wants to create an animatic to go along with the book, etc.

There is only about a minute of animation. He had hired someone prior to talking to me, but was deeply disappointed when deadlines were not met. At the end of it all, he received a partly finished animatic, with several usable backgrounds and character designs, but no finished animation.

He had asked me to do it, but recently i have taken a full time position and i am working on my thesis at the same time. As much as i would love to have a hand in creating a great television series, I just can't at this point in time.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in taking on the project, please contact me immediately! I need help! The job is a paying freelance gig.

Today is my first day of work back at AC. I was told to draw hands. i dont see the harm in posting hands, so here's some hands!

Here's some backgrounds with layouts that i've been heartily cranking out this week. I've pumped out a bunch more but they're not as interesting as these. I didn't feel much like bothering to post them since they're pretty boring on their own.

I can't sleep so I drew this. Her one foot is weird but i tried it a million times and it just didn't work out so i gave up. everything else about it i like, though.

I have an internship at augenblick studios now so i suppose that means i will post more on mondays. but this is somewhat preliminary work for my thesis -- i end up just doodling major expressions from my film, trying to get them just perfect before i fully animate it.

Here's the rat design for my thesis. I think this one in particular came out FUCKING AWESOME. I'm gonna use it pretty much as is and just break it up into symbols and whatever for the scene its in.

This week is my last week at Animation Collective. I'm sure i'll miss it when i'm gone but right now i just can't wait to sleep in every day and work on my storyboards for my own stuff. Also i will have a chance to draw and pick up my comic again. God dammit.

I've been doing some caricatures of people while i'm at work because i get bored easily and there's nobody here to harass me anymore. I'll probably do a bunch more but these are the first two.

My dear Melissa from work asked that i draw this for her so she could stick it on her fridge for her roommate. Apparently she stacks dishes in an unorthodox and tower-of-pisa-like manner. Idk the whole back story behind it or anything. I just drew the picture. She owes me $321.75 for this drawing. I'm still waiting for her to pay up.

I drew this for sal because today is his last day and it makes me very sad to see him leave. but he's got bigger and better fish to fry. And no amount of whining i could do could persuade him otherwise. But he will be sorely missed as he was like a brother to me!

I drew this last week, i wanted to fix it up again and then color it to completion but i started getting in trouble at work for doodling too much so i had to put it away. i only pulled it out today to just post it.
